Eric Nance Woehler is a writer and editor who helps companies and other organizations discern and develop their key, differentiating messages. He wrote news, business and sports articles for newspapers in Kentucky and Indiana for about five years after studying journalism at Western Kentucky University; he has been a full-time freelancer since 1998. He has written about basketball, church, diseases, air conditioners, pop singers and public-education reform, but most of the entities that he works with are high-tech companies or professional organizations. Eric also writes poetry. He and his family have lived in Madisonville since 2008.
Fun thing about the entrepreneurship community …
I really love learning the stories about how people end up doing what they’re doing. I kind of collect them, even, and trade them around. Sometimes I even tell the stories correctly.
Fun facts …
— I once met the president of Iceland.
— I’ve visited each of Kentucky’s 120 counties at least three times—on vacation.
— I make a pretty good grilled cheese.
